Following a rigorous selection process, Elite Catering + Event Professionals (ECEP) announces two new members. Vestals Catering in Austin and Dallas, Texas, and Bingemans in Kitchener, Canada, have joined the by-invitation group, giving ECEP its first Canadian member.
“The selection process is not easy,” says ECEP president Michael Stavros. “Our board of directors – all founding members, me included – fully vet each company. Our two new members met ECEP’s standards with their high level of quality, business acumen and willingness to collaborate on our many business-to-business initiatives. They share our members’ desire to effect change and improvement in the hospitality industry.”
ABOUT VESTALS
Vestals Catering, with locations in North and Central Texas, was founded in 2007 by Jordan and Emily Swim. The company has grown exponentially, with offices in Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, and San Antonio. In 2018, the company catered the president’s dinner at Abilene Christian University, launching it into large-scale catering. In 2022, Vestals opened its second location in Austin, Texas, with sights set on becoming the premier caterer in Texas.
ABOUT BINGEMANS
Bingemans was founded in Canada in 1938 as a dairy and restaurant. Catering a successful local event marked the company’s entry into the world of catering and hospitality. Over the years, the family business added more interests to its holdings, including an array of wildly successful amusement facilities. Growth across the board included an increase in everything from concessions to high-end catering. Now helmed by President Mark Bingeman, the company is poised for further growth as it looks to expand its water parks and other youth-based activities.
"We are thrilled and honored to be the first Canadian catering company welcomed into ECEP," said Bingeman. "Being invited to join this group of industry titans is a testament to the dedication of our team and our unwavering commitment to excellence in every aspect of our service.”
